Material Boy

"This photograph captures not only the playfulness of youth but the disparaging circumstances under which many people live. This medium was the chosen because it is immobile just like millions of people around the world are immobilized by poverty.

The above photo was taken in Northern China where generations are living and continue to be born in to impoverished circumstances. Embarking on a journey towards the Millennium Development Goals would mean the creation of a global alliance. 

I have previously taught in China and will volunteer abroad again in order to do my part in investing in global development."
