Anyone Can Make a Difference!
Take a Dip! The Water in Our Lives! Students from around the world are involved in this Environmental Collaborative iEARN Project. Students are teaming up to test the quality and research the cultural significance of fresh water. Students will have the opportunity to compare the water quality of his/her local river, stream, lake or pond and the stories and practices dealing with water in your community with other fresh water sources around the world.
The Water Can: Clean Water for All! WaterCan is an organization dedicated to providing clean drinking water to the world's poorest people. Since its creation in 1987, WaterCan has assisted more than one million people in 32 developing countries. WaterCan currently supports projects in Africa.
