Drawing of an aerial view of a city

The Perfect World

"Alberta is a great province, there are a lot of ways it could be better, if it had all the development goals achieved. The UN (United Nations) has been coming along well with their plans. Prevent child mortality, eradicate homelessness, eradicate poverty and hunger, increasing education around the world, a greener future would be breeched. The perfect world would be an amazing place to live in for everyone, that’s what everyone want’s.

This picture that I drew portrays Calgary with all its goals accomplished.  It has a big picture of Calgary and all the plans complete.  I just used water colour pencils and added water to it so it will look like a nice, warm, sunny day.

My ideas changed about the MDG when I learned more about it.  In the beginning of the year, I didn’t think it was that important, but now I found out that it is really important for the Millennium Development Goals to actually work. My message to people from my artwork is that we all have a role to preserve our world for generations to come. I will try to make the world a little cleaner by recycling, reusing, not littering, taking a bus, taking a bicycle, buying a hybrid car would be great . If everyone did that our goals would be accomplished.

I had a fantastic time doing this; I tried my best on this project. The name of this drawing is the perfect world. I chose this name because it shows what the world would soon be. The meaning of this picture is to look in the future."
