A drawing of children and a large globe

What do Children Need?
"Hi my name is Maddy. I go to Earl Grey Elementary school.  I am 8 years old and I live in Calgary. Some things I like drawing. I chose this pastel because it really shows the colors. I think my project explains in the pictures that children need peace, clean water, clean air and food. The title of my project is “What do Children Need?”  It reminds us to think and try to change the world so it’s a better place.  My project shows a village with clean water, houses, food, school, doctors and clean air. I would take action in trying to safe the environment and the children.  I think the MDG’s are important because they are trying to make the world a better place. The message I want to send out to the world is that children need certain things like clean water."
