A drawing by a student

Millennium Development Goals

"We’ve been learning about the United Nations Millennium Development goals at school.  We’ve learned about how much poverty there is in Canada, and we are doing an art project on what the world would look like without poverty, and how we could solve poverty.  I decided to do a picture showing what the world would look like without poverty.

My picture is in black and white because I thought it would be creative but when I draw I make it really dark. My picture has lots of people with different feelings like happy, sad and joyful. My picture takes place downtown. I hope that my picture sends out a message to everybody!!!"
