Earth Day Every Day

"I chose to use markers because they were bright and colourful. It's noticeable and eyecatching. I chose to do a picture looking like a puzzle to show that once all the pieces fit together it shows what it couls all look like if we work together to accomplish the eight millennium development goals.

This piece means a lot because it shows how better maternal health, no hunger or poverty, gender equality, global partnerships, no disease, no child mortality, environmental stability and all children educated everywhere could connect to a better place to live im. The titile is called Earth Day every Day because I thought that everyday we could make any one of these happen and take steps to do it each day.

I am now more aware of what's going on in the world and realize what can happen if thewse issues start to continue. Before I didn't realize how serious diseases, child mortality and gender equality were.

I want to show that if everyone's aware of what goes on in this world we can work together to get rid of all the issues. It shows that all the pieces just fit together to make the world a better place to live in. These problems are serious and need to be taken care of. I will try to do anything I can to make these problems stop but I don't think I can do it alone. I could try to help in anyway I can."
