War Child Canada

Founded in 1999, War Child Canada is a global organization that helps children affected by war and to raise awareness for children's rights everywhere.

War Child Canada works to help thousands whose lives have been torn apart by war, and to help North American youth to help others.

The Impact of War

War impacts so many people... mothers, fathers and children.

What do you know about the effects of war? What happens when children lose their family members? What happens when children are asked to fight in wars begun by adults? Can war create poverty? Can war create homelessness?

Over 300,000 children are fighting in wars in over 30 countries around the world.
Some children are kidnapped or forced to fight and others join because they are hungry, do not have shelter or are hoping to help improve the lives of their families.

What Can People Do Around The World to Make a Difference?

The Children Connecting Children Project is an outstanding example of how organizations like i-EARN can bring people together to make a difference.
